    Pics of my Mark

Here's some pics of my car...

it's a 1990 Lincoln Mark VII Bill Blass Designer Edition. I of course is powered by a 5.0L H.O. Ford Mustang GT V-8m 4spd AOD, and a 3.08 rear end, with 195,000 kms (about 121,000 miles) and gets 30 mpg highway. It's 99% stock, with the only mods being that added a Draw-Tite class 1 bumper mount trailer tow hitch, and a limited slip "Posi-Traction" axle carrier to eliminate the problems associated with driving in winter with peg-legger axles.

I drive this car every day to and from work, and would not hesitate to take it on any length of road trip.

Nice MKVII!!!! Are those muffs/exhaust tips from a Cadillac? Whatever they are, they look nice on your car. I don't know if the paint is original, but it sure looks clean.

Packman, the exhaust tips i believe are from a Cadillac, I was told they're called "Double Barrel Shotgun" exhaust tips. They were already on the car when I bought it.

Also the paint is not original. It used to be silver, and was painted black before I got it. The paint does look great, but who ever the P/O took it to, did a real piss-poor job. They just painted over the silver with no prep, so every so often I have to scour the car with a magnifying glass in one hand, and a touch up bush in the other... It's bad to the point where I can literally scratch the paint off with a finger nail.

Other than that, it's a great car, and just rides like a dream, it tows my camper really well too.... as far as I know... there's only 4 Mark VII's in the entire city of Ottawa... Mine is the only Bill Blass edition with the canvas Landau roof, and the DBS exhaust tips. The other 3 are LSC's, 2 '88s, and a 92 LSC-SE
