Picked up an 89 Towncar. Looks to be pretty much a base model, analog guages, premium sound, basic leather. Of course, it has issues. Trans is dead from the stupid bushing failure, the motor is very loose, antenna is busted off. However it's very clean and has very minor dings and nearly NO rust. Well worth the 150 bucks I paid for it.

you want a 5 speed in anything Tom, but the idea of a 5 speed Town Car does intrigue me as well.~David~

Crazy good price there. I gotta say, putting in a manual is only satisfying if you mod the suspension enough (just some PI shocks enough) to control the porpoising between the gears. As I said before, really nice and clean looking TC you have there! Since you already have the autocrossing wagon, may I suggest GMN's first (afaik) Rally TC?
