hey man, I remember seeing your white truck on FSB, never saw the van tho - cool trucks, that's for sure! I gotta ask tho, what's your need for a lifted dually van? Also, do you plan on converting the front to Chevy outers and 8-lug wheels?

i made it a dually some time ago.. i made it a dually because it was my DD and tow vehicle.. and duallys are alot more stable pulling a trailer.. than i put a NP435 in it. i wanted it to be 4 wheel drive because there have been times that it would have been nice pulling the trailer in the dirt and snow to recover my broken pickup..(got stuck pulling the trailer more than once is too many times) it came out that tall using the stock parts off the 84 i got the axle out of.. and yes i have been thinking about the 8 lug conversion.
here is the link for the build an the van if your interested. http://www.fullsizebronco.com/forum/...d.php?t=130638

Yah, I saw your FSB thread over the weekend - how you plan on making the dually wheels work in the front? That's a D44 axle right, don't think there are any Ford parts that will work for that, you'll probably have to go Chevy all the way rotors and hub extensions and all. One thing to watch out for is the hub diameter where the wheel pilots on it, the Chevy is slightly smaller than the Ford so a Ford wheel will work on a Chevy hub but not he other way around, so make sure you get Ford front wheels and it should be good.
