That one with the chrome edge is the same monitor I used for my backup camera on my 93 that I mounted in the left center vent. Build quality is a little hit or miss, but they seem to last quite a long time when they are put together.

For 20 bucks I cannot complain. The reverse camera system I compiled for the Mercedes will cost 40 bucks total. There will be numerous hours of fab work though as the monitor will be hidden inside the center console or under seat cubbies and then be manually exposed ( folded out/ stretched out….still in the beginning stages of imaging everything) when needed.~David~

Yeah... that's the same reason I used it... complete backup camera system was $30 at the time. $15 each for the camera and the monitor. IIRC.
