I got a shit tone of stuff stuck everywhere to keep the noises outside.

This is with the windows down. Super fun.

Ill see if I can pull something off the dashcam that was done the other day. Its a short tunnel, maybe 75 feet, basically an underpass to be fair. She screams when you get on her.

my 93 will let world+dog know about it when you floor it too. Some of the folks here have commented about that in my dashcam vids with the windows up and on open road when I romp on it.

Took her out for a longer ride today and it rode fantastic, just like it always did before the latest mishap. Took her easy for the most part. Just one WOT from a dead stop just to spin the tires some. What a turd down low now lol.

Anyways here is a short video with some dudes giving me props as well as a short tunnel jaunt and some tire spinning. Nothing exciting. Oh I did get slammed by a rock while on the drive. The clip of that is in the video too with its aftermath. Made me sad. Shes all fixed up now though. Just needs a bit of blocking and some compound and all will be back to normal.

wow... the a-pillar chip was pretty bad.

            The "tunnel" romp was nice.

The revised one, as well as the stock one has a much larger plate that covers almost half of the lower intake. The small plate has to come off and you drill/tap the two cast bosses forward of the PCV hole as well in order to mount it.

I'd have said something if I'd seen that before you put it on.
Thain, you know what years I should be after?

Itching for a JY trip and I will pull one next time out. I will send it out to get ported as well, just because.

We are talking explorer lower intake here in case it is not obvious.

I don't honestly. There was a TSB / revised thing from Ferd at one point about it. I'm thinking later 90s. The part number for the big baffle is F6, so maybe starting in '97. Since you don't run EGR you could even make do with a later non-egr intake if you wanted to.

pics and a part number, just in case you don't come up with one that has the bigger baffle.

                          Dave,

Does your CV have automatic climate control? It looks like it does. Did you make a bracket that holds up the climate control circuit thingy that the heater hose goes through? I'll see if I can get a picture of mine tonight. I found mine climate control circuit/solenoid dangling after removing the engine.

Never mind; I just found out what that is. My search goes on.

I am guessing you were referring to the thermal blower lockout switch?

I eliminated mine ages ago, matter of fact my father did that while he owned the car.

I was referring to the bracket you have for the defunct MAP sensor. I mistakened it for the automatic climate control.
