Currently im using the 90 only town car ziptube, no holes to plug, plus i found out it fits the explorer 65mm throttle body very snug, but it fits. i might have to switch over the the 91+ style if i go mass air depends if it restricts airflow giving driveability issues. Will test it out after the new motor goes in if it runs without issues then im keeping it.

I have solid rubber plugs gooped into mine on the 88. The 93 with the PI swap uses both ports. I need to check the goop on the 88 too, make sure its' still good..

This. Just much better instrumentals going on with the original. Can't stand when that chick talks gibberish but dig the tune nonetheless.

                    Is it tuned yet?

                    Comment

                      Tuned yes. Fine tuned no.

Waiting on good weather to load the latest tune with more fuel at idle to help out the 15.5+ AFR while in park.

Tuner wants the AFR in park before going further.

What we really want to know is whether or not it does burnouts. Fuck your AFR and your couch.

You're right. I fail. The afrs reached acceptable levels 10-12ish above idle in gear. Would be fine to romp on it.

On a more serious note after I put 500 miles on the engine I want to switch over to a synthetic. Currently have 10-30 in there. Do I just switch over to a 10-30 synthetic or go to a 5-30 or something?

I've run both in mine. I find that with 5w30 the roller rockers are a bit noisier once it's warmed up. But then again those stupid things are always noisy.

10-30 in warm weather, 5-30 when the blizzards hit.
