Well it is easy to verify, just do a before and after lock to lock. I kind of like the pinky steer but if the ratio was tighter that would be cool.
Too bad the Marauder is an 03, could have upgraded it to pinky steer.03 Marauder DPB, HS, 6disk, Organizer Mods> LED's in & Out, M&Z rear control arms, Oil deflector, U-Haul Trans Pan, Blue Fuzzy Dice

Went to home depot the other day and as per Thain's suggestion I picked up an eye to eye turn buckle as opposed to the eye to hook I have currently. Just a piece of mind thing. Also picked up another wire thimble and a few clamps:
Will throw that on when the steering box swap happens.
This morning I drove out to Orient Point. I think the ferry from there goes to Connecticut.
Welcome to New York!

You've got some damn nice tires on that thing, are those snows? Lol
Is this where you got your Tudor rain guards?

The tires are indeed winter tires. Dunlop Winter Sport M3 215/65/16 I had them on my old v6 mustang wheels and swapped them over to these Hpps. The hpps had roached tires on them. I then sold the v6 wheels. Nowpacking on the miles on these tires so I can get some fat meats for the rear and something smaller up front.~David~

I'll be honest with ya they don't allow the window to be open very much at all. Maybe 1/4" at the MOST. Seriously anymore than that and the window is open enough for rain to get in up front.~David~

That's quite disappointing...
On a side note,
Really wish I had doors that were ones which came with vent windows.......__________________________________________________

98 to 2002 Police interceptor steering box install!
Popped in the PI steering box today. What a day lol. Went out at nine and was done a seven. I am beat!
Hardest parts were removing/replacing the bolt that holds the steering shaft to the rest of the steering mechanisms near the firewall. Second annoyance was fabbing up the rag joint. I wanted to use the NEW rubber but that made the nuts I used to secure it to the rubber hit the lower shaft when fully assembled. So I then spaced it out with a nut to keep those nuts further from the shaft. Well then I was hitting the frame with the lower shaft. lol SO I then just slotted the holes in the 97-02 lower shaft and nut and bolted everything to the old rubber rag joint. Came out sweet!
The old power steering lines and the old stock pinky finger box.
Stock unmodified shaft:
Somewhere down there is the bolt that secures the cooler line:
Ugha. Gotta removed the sway bar....
Did my box have play?
Bits removed:
Naked!
Stock 87 and 98 shaft:
The old box draining out:
Failed attempts:
The ticket:
Note above I forgot to add the little piece of metal heat shield looking thing. I realized later and installed it afterwards.
Things going back together:
Shot of how I ran my lines:
HOLY FUCK. That box is STIFF! Me likey! Only maneuvered it out of the work spot in the back yard...Lots of back and forth cutting the wheel etc. Wanna take her on the road.Last edited by 87gtVIC; 07-19-2014, 09:09 PM.~David~
