1987 TriBurner and 1986 Alaska stokers keeping me warm. (and some pesky oil heat)
I was a bit concerned that these tires would look way to large on the wheels considering I purchased the tires years back for the bullitt wheels......Luckily according to tire rack these tires fit just fine on a 7 inch wheel (the CV sport ones) as they do on the 8" wide bullitts and they look fine to me.
My suspension if poly everything and I mean everything....Whatever side wall flex these wheels have I cannot notice any negatives.
Can you get a factory distributor boot over that cap?
Dude, I was just going to ask that same question. I just cleaned and dressed my JY dizzy boot over the weekend for the same purpose. My engine is going to be silver and blue. The red just clashes with the scheme.
I love those '02 CV wheels; now you just have to take either the CV or Mustang wheels and paint them to match the body color and the win would be too much to bare.
Right before I did the swap I revisited your thread about that issue so I am familiar with what you are talking about and did have this in mind when I swapped the brakes on.
I had the vehicle supported by jack stands underneath the frame and installed the brakes with the suspension at full drop.
With the cable you sent me and even with the cable I had purchased I had no binding or pulling of the cable while turning the wheels lock to lock.
My hoses bolted right into the factory mounting locations and the adapters you sent me mated perfectly to the hoses.
Been busy prepping some rear disc parts mitymerc (Jim) and I pulled for me crown vic. I cleaned and wire wheeled them then painted them. Just have to put in the order for hoses, rotors calipers and pads.
In other news I finally got around to plumbing in the police oil cooler I had half installed onto the car over a year ago. No leaks! Score.
