you can do it. ive done it a couple times. just need to push the plastic wheel well cover enought, so you can sneak it out.

The blower motor comes out without a fuss if you use flex joints and extensions to get to that one lower bolt. I've had the one out of my car a couple times without touching the inner fender.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
