Updates....unfortunately nothing spectacular..besides me needing to replace yet more things. The list grows...now in addition to the exhaust, big brakes and battery cover I have to install a new fuel sender as well as replace all of the body bushings. Yay!
Nice having a job and all....getting much money squirreled away just no time for my dad and I to work side by side the car. Once stuff slows down though I hope to jump back on the car like I have done in the past.~David~

Tomorrow will mark the first anniversary of new paint!
Also got the impy tailpipes installed over the weekend. No magna flow tipis though as that would have required the tailpipes to hang much to low for my liking so I just have some turn downs stuffed just behind the bumper.~David~

Big overhaul time is nearing. Body bushings are shot and the front end could use some better stopping power...an order to Energy Suspension is over due. The rest of the big brake components will be ordered as well as what was mentioned above. Just ordered a Fuel Sending unit as well from Green Sales. Gonna be a joy replacing everything.~David~

Is it actually possible to do bodymounts as a one-man job? Just wondering, since if I ever attempt them it'll almost certainly be all by my lonesome just like most everything else ....2012 Mazda5 Touring | Finally working on the LTD again!

Its helpful to have an extra person when jacking the body up, but thats really about it. When we did mine, I think we did one side and then the other, going as evenly as possible. You can do it solo I guess, but it would mean moving around somewhat more. The rest of the process is honestly just removing bolts and putting them back in for the most part. If you break one of the stock captive nuts and have to go with a regular nut and bolt, an extra pair of hands to hold the wrench on the nut would probably be useful. Its just not really one of those jobs that goes twice as easy with twice as many people.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

The step on the ES bushing is smaller than the hole in the frame, so the washer is needed to make up the difference. If you're really planning to seperate the body from the frame in any meaningful way, you'll also need to unhook the fuel lines and brake lines and stuff so you can move them apart. You can lift the body a couple inches to swap mounts without doing that, but you're not getting much more. Oh, the steering column also needs disconnecting. I'm sure theres other stuff thats just not coming to mind immediately.
Here is some info...Still trying to make sense of it though because the spacers Justin has for sale look larger, much larger than the step in the bushings.
