Oh, and Ecsta ASX's have never let me down through rain or shine. Dunno so much about snow yet, but I'll find out in a few months I guess.
I suspect it was more caused by the fact that I was running 10" wide all-seasons in snow- those things are wide enough to be skis, and they sure acted like them. I'm sure in a seven or eight inch wide configuration they wouldn't perform nearly as poor.

Yeah, I got them for my 17x8 Bullitts because they were the closest to the stock outer diameter that I could find, especially at such a good price.

Its been over a year since I've posted an update...

Hard to believe, for me. The red box is still around, though... (taken last night).

Since buying the Dodge in mid February, I've put about 200 miles on the red box. I've put 10,000 on the Dodge. Its resting, I guess. I wash it occasionally, and my younger brother drives it to and from work sometimes. I took it to the track in July or so; it ran mid 16s with the transmission as it is. For a while, I considered building the engine, but that was a fleeting thought. I really just wish it would shift right. I think it'd run high 15s if it wouldn't shift so goddamn early. I thought about changing the trnamission, but maybe just a vb swap would be ok.

My dad asked me if he could use it for a winter beater this year, but he has a 4WD F350 now, so I don't know if that'll happen or not.

Anyways, I am babbling, but I was just thinking about my old car...

yeah its can damage to the paint, if the leaves stay on it too long.

No worries. We have mad trees in our yard. It was actually washed and waxed not long ago.

My brother drove it today, and he always washes it, vacuums it, etc. He keeps it really nice.

Not at this point in time.

I was looking to sell it for a while... I actually have a list of folks to contact if I decide to sell again. If you want, you can take a number.

Yeah, I wouldn't let him use it as a winter beater. Build up the 351W and the AOD. I'd bet you could do it yourself for little money. Yeah, it won't be a barnstormer, but at least it'll be a nice cruiser. The Red Box is too nice to let it go to seed.

Can you have your brother come wash my car? It's still in the same position from when you saw it last. Very depressing.

Yeah. I got them from mrltd about a year ago. They have racing slicks on them; I never got the chance/ urge to put street tires on them. They're great wheels though.

That was one of the three looks for the red box. There was also the raked look with the big tires on aluminum wheels, and the level look with the police wheels (my favorite).

I always wanted to get a set of 17" Cragar soft 8s (with OEM whale tower caps) and some fat tires. Never happened.
