Current pics of TL's POS *DUW*

Washed the POS today. Didn't have the time or supplies to buff and hand-glaze it so it got a quick spray-detailer wax job.

There is still a set of tires, a snow blower, and a 12x12 kid's inflatable fortress in there so with that and the driveway's slope it may seem a little saggy in the rear. Once I get the crap out of it, I'll post some interior pics. If I get to buff it and hand glaze it on my next day off, I'll also detail the wheel wells and try to get some pics at the lake at sunset for you all.

I love it. Looks super clean. Looks awesome with the window tint. I dont know much about the old crown vics, but if its easy to remove, I suggest painting the grille black as well.

Keep us posted if have any plans for it.

Thanks for the compliments, the car is photogenic I suppose. I am glad a few of you like the car. I always have, but I have been in the minority on that one for a long time.

Yes, I did. I fixed the main line, and then the return line blew, lol. I thought I wasn't using the return line, so it shocked me to see it start pouring fuel out like mad. See what happens when you go through 2 fuel pumps in one season? Starts up very nicely now, and for once, I smell like fuel more than the car does.

I was unsure if I like the chrome lower sill trim, but after seeing a direct comparison, I must say it needs the chrome there. Maybe if I went back to the old 15" steels and dog dishes, the strip delete would look agreeable like the MIB POS. And, as MykeyInChains suggested, some flat black or satin black paint on the front grill would be good, too.

It's a shame that I have one of the only lots with mature trees in the whole subdivision, especially considering it was a forest before they developed. The womang wants acreage next time, but it's going to be a while before I can swing that one.

Hmmm. Lots of Fords in the pics...

Eh, probably not on this particular car. I always thought the uber-clean near-stock look was one of this car's best points.

It's actually got some rust, but it hides very well in pics amidst all that shiny paint!

No clearcoat on this car. The paint oxidizes in a few days of direct sunlight . Not a problem if it's a agrage queen or you are a little obsessive-compulsive, like me.

Yeah, kind of why I am not against finding some mint 15" steels, original dog dishes, and losing the tint.

Thankfully it's confined to areas I can work on myself. The one area where it's too far gone is the front passenger side fender, and that is easily and cheaply replaced. Just need to get a nice fender off of a cornering lamp-less car. Know where I can get one Michael? :smirk:
