Rollin In The Continental At Last.

Finally got the Lincoln on the road just last week and having a blast with it. These pics I took today after I gave it a good wash and wax.

I also dropped by Daves place today and his Merc is awesome looking so I had to get a pic of that too.

Here is a video I took of the 460 breathing through the glass packs.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

There's a red Mark III in my area. Looks to be in mint condition.

Very nice. I'm guessing thats a late production 68? The early ones had the 462 motor.

That Lincoln is awesome. I've always wanted the '61 Continental with the old Thunderbird grille (at least that's what it looked like to me). I wish my computer would accept the latest flash player because I would love to hear that 460.

You must have used 5 gallons of gas revving it up there. It sounds pretty decent through the glasspacks too.

I picked it up in Kerwood Ontario, a small town between London and Sarnia. I wish I had pics of when I first got it. She sat behind the original owners shop from 1987 to 2002 without running and was at the point where the only good things left were the body and drive train. One thing that shocked me was that the parking brake still works and it is original to the car. Even the auto release feature when you put it in gear still works. And yea she is a gas pig but that is the last thing you think about when you're riding around and blaring the stereo.
