I'm thinking it is, but I could be wrong. I think the LSE's had dual exhaust from the factory, and maybe the rear air suspension, too?

Zack should know (his dad had one), maybe he'll show up and help out.

Shouldn't it say LSE on the trunk lid? That's weird how all the badges are missing, I thought they always said at least Mercury and Grandmarquis on the lid.

They're supposed to, but the letters are just stuck on with double sided tape, and pretty easy to remove... I've been pondering doing it to mine, and when I have the time I think his has convinced me to go ahead with it.

If you do that, i'd say black out the rest of the fake chrome on the car. In my opinion that'd look best, I just don't think chrome looks like it belongs on a car made after the 70's. That's why I want to paint my front bumper black, it just doesn't look right.

IIRC, all LSEs have those center consoles but no others have them...but I could be wrong.

I removed the lettering with dental floss and then some adhesive remover and then extra fine rubbing compound then good maguiers wax. I have thought about different ideas with the trim and grill, etc....but with the color of the car the chrome looks nice and I like cars that look mostly stock. Kind of a sleeper look. My car does have dual exhaust from the factory, and rear air ride. There was not any LSE lettering on the car when I got it. I wish I had the original window sticker but I don't

currently debating keeping factory 16 inch wheels with some bigger tires,
or go with current Mustang rims 17 or 18 inch. not into aftermarket rims

Factory dual exhaust and that center console are making me call this an LSE. I don't believe there was any special badging, so there wasn't one to remove.

Marauder or Mustang wheels would look great. I went with 18" and do not regret it.

                    Looks fabulous with those wheels.

Oh, how jealous I am. Looks sleek.
