Got some stuff in! All my avenues for Cobra valve covers have come to be a bust, However!! I did get to see the underside of my valve coves compared to the cobra, no difference. Even the baffles are the same, so my HO valve covers will clear these 1.7 RRs!!!! Anyways on with the pics.....yes I am such a loser that I set them up like that for picture taking LOL

Yeah, so the above used injectors turned out to be crap after I installed them. Half of them did not initialy work. I got most of them to work after some tapping on them. But I was not happy, so I sent them back and got some brand new Ford Racing "high flow" 19# injectors. Note that Ford Racing "High Flow" injectors are OEM injectors (identical to the factory ones on my 95 HO), despite their warning that a callibrated MAF and tuned ECU are needed.

While I had my intake off I moved my air temp sesor and modified the PCV hosing. I had to replace a freeze plug at the end because that is where my air temp sensor used to be. So I took pics of something most will never see!

So first I replaced my old injectors with the crappier used ones. I don't have pics of the new Ford Racing ones installed, because I did that after work and was pressed for time.

While I had my valve covers off I simply did a wash and wax job on them. They cleaned up very nice IMO.

Here are a few close-ups of the Ford Motorsports Crane Cams 1.7ratio alluminum roller rockers, and the Comp Cams valve springs. Before I start installing them all.

Here are some pics of them as they got installed on the engine.

And some pics of the valve covers back on....all shined up!

All and all it was a pretty easy install of all the parts. Was especialy surpised at how easy installing rockers on this engine is. Bolt and go!

I also upgraded my backup lights with 50watt halogens. Helps a lot! It is no modification upgrade. You can clearly see which one is the halogen and which is not.

Kudos on diving in headfirst with all the upgrades & mods! :worship:

Aren't those halogens too hot for the plastic bulb holder & lenses?

I checked it out while I was back there, and no. If it was a hot day, and you sat in reverse for like 10 minutes it might warp it. However there are a few thing to remember about the amount of heat the lense will be recieving.

1: It's clear, most of the radiant head is not absorbed by it.
2: 50watts is the advertized max, meaning nominal is probobly between 50%-75%
          3: Watts (50) = Volts (12) * Amps, so even at max it's 4 amps.
4: How long do you stay in reverse for?

I doubt that it would ever warp the lense, though they give it a high wattage rating it just didn't seem to put out much heat.

Not exactly... Most of the light isn't absorbed, but a lot of HEAT is. Remember that even the most efficient devices are rarely more than 50% efficient, so a light rated for 50W is putting out ~25W of light & ~25W of heat. A high-power 8W dome lamp bulb will melt a dome lens...

But if it's not getting hot, then it's not getting hot.

I agree, 50watts should be putting a good amount of heat out, but I seriously have my doubts as to about just how much power is going through it.....now I gotta know. I'll hook up my multi meter tonight and find out how much exactly.

Also kinda car related, I got my new pimp ass custom long sleve tee with my Vic on the front and back in. Looks pretty damn good, and does not look like it is fading away at all so far (5 washes with bleach). Rather windy at work that day so it looks like a massive cow lick lol.

So I got a brand new 05 V6 Mustang radiator fan. So I spent the last day installing it. Turned out really good.

This is my old setup. I got the new fan for free because, the shroud had a chip in it. So I had to seal that missing part up to enhance the flow. I used a piece of alluminum to cover the crack. And I used slainless steel to make the brackets, and I pollished them up to make it look good.

What's with the covering over the coil wire?

I like not seeing it cross over to the fender. Makes it more discrete.

I notice you've got a Mustang / Mark VII 90 degree thermostat neck on there. What upper radiator hose are you using? The regular Panther one or one for a Mark VII ? Gonna have to swap to one of that style neck for the Explorer bracket setup on the SuperLinc.

I believe that it is a 95 mustang hose, but I will look at the numbers on it and find out for sure. I got it from NAPA.
