I'm aware you're converterless, and I am somewhat envious...

My car has to actually pass emissions, but you wouldn't know anything about that, would you?

IMO, I think that you should install the AeroChambers and see how you like the sound. If it's too loud, you can always put the glasspacks on the tails to quiet it down a little.

My cars too old to be emissions tested so my converters will be coming off.

I've heard aero chambers on my bud's truck... I dont like em, sounded like my old flow techs.

If it were my car I would spend the extra coin on a set of good muffs. Get turbo style magnaflows. 1 they are stainless and last forever, 2 they sound amazing. Hell even Flowmasters wouldnt sound bad and you can get em in stainless.

Afterburners...didnt sound too bad for how cheap they were but they droned contrary to the ads about them. They just have that unrefined and raw burble that I dont like, aero chambers are just like it.

Interesting; I would have thought both the Afterburners and AeroChambers would help reduce said raw burble.

The edelbrocks on mine sound mean as hell, and get really quiet on the highway- at least inside the car! Too bad they friggin stopped making them years ago. I've used the edelbrock RPMs on my 87 vic, our 79 bronco, my buddies mark 7,and the wagon.
