    Magna's Future Exhaust Setup

so here's what I plan to do for my exhaust once my friend in Indiana gets done modifying the passenger side header for my car...

    Full Length 1 5/8" headers...

then this stuff..just picked it all up recently...

DynoMax Bullets..anyone know of any paint or something I can coat these with to keep them from rusting?

    Hooker Aero Chamber Mufflers

Summit Slant cut exhaust tips..2.5" to 3"

oh..and this will have 2.5" piping along with it...

and heck, some pics of the whole setup...

Okay, the obvious question - why both glasspacks AND mufflers?

I'm guessing you want a quiet exhaust. I don't think both the Bullets and Aero Chambers are necessary, but whatever floats your boat.

Hey, that's what I was going to ask.!

Are cats not needed for you.?

Also, does the drivers side header work okay with the steering column / shift lever setup.? Please take some "after" pics of the headers before you install them so we can see what was needed to be modified.

As for paint for unpainted exhaust, I've tried just about them all, and not really thrilled with any of them. The VHT high temp stuff seemed to work better than most, but still not all that great. I've also had good luck with some aluminized paint, but can't remember where I got it from. It looked great until the end, when it rusted from the inside out.

Bullets in front of, or behind the Aero Chambers?

damn you no emissions people.!!! :cuss: Making the rest of us all jealous.
We (Missouri) just got rid of our emission testing on everything below '96, but we still have to retain the garbage for visual inspection.

For the longest time I was debating between the Aerochambers and bullets, lol.

But having two sets of mufflers... you're gonna quiet her down man. Just have the Aerochambers installed. If it's too loud (hahaha) put the bullets on. Or vise versa.

Either way... good choices on mufflers, those were my top two choices until I found the Dynomax Ultraflows, lol.

+1 One of the few advantages to living in Michigan, but it's sort of a big one. :p

I expect Colin's 306 will sound good through the mufflers and resonators. Kind of like what I have with a set of cheap glasspacks way out back, but a lot nicer.
