    Mysterious LTD SS

Here is my latest acquisition, another 1984 Ford Crown Victoria. I picked this gem up off my uncle, I traded him my 77 F350 for it.

My uncle (the moron that he is)bought the car last month to put on the but changed his mind because he said the motor was seized. I just through a battery in it and she fired right up, of course this was after we traded.: I call this car mysterious because it has only 47 000 kms on it but it runs like a piece of shit and the car is rusty as hell.
The brake light is on because because the car only has front brakes. The car was sitting at my work and I went to move it and the front brake line and driver side wheel cylinder blew out. I only fixed the front brakes that way I could drive it home.

Here is what powers the SS, a 351 Windsor. I call it the SS for Super Slow because, well lets just say you'll never get a speeding ticket in this car. Though I was surprised i could get it to do a brake stand.

More info and pics later, I'm going to bed.

What condition was the F350 in? I really hope you didn't trade a good running truck for a Panther just cause tis a Panther...

Don't all your Panther's have 351W's? It may be a slug but I bet it's better then the lopo 302 CFI.

probably the low mileage is why it runs bad. if thats a carb, i'd bet its all crudded up inside. probably a carb rebuild, fresh fuel and a tune up would fix most of the running problems. Cars that sit have lots of stupid problems like that.

Nice CV, but I really like that Lincoln Continental in the back. What year is that, '67?

The Lincoln is actually a 68. Here are a couple pics. The carpet is now red. These are old pics.

Here are some more pics of the vic.

I'll post some interior pics tomorrow when my computer will stop being a bitch and let me upload them. I changed the carb on it saturday and it's a good carb i put on. It runs better but still shitty. The old carb had a hole in the fuel bowl like someone hit it with a hammer. The car also has all of this pollution control shit on it that neither of my other Vics have. Were the Canadian cars optioned with California emission?

Is that blue truck the 77 F350 you traded? That looks like a nice truck, I wouldn't trade it. But if the Vic maakes you happy then that's all that matters I guess. And that Continental is badass

No I still have the blue truck, the brown truck peeping into the pic is what I traded.

Here are some interior shots from the car. The seats look like no one ever sat in them and that is part of the reason I took this car. I am going to take this interior and put it in the grey Vic and probly convert to power windows. One feature I've never seen before is the power rear antenna. Not sure I'll use the vent windows though.

I'm assuming there is more rust than just what's on the pass. side door. Like you said before, this car is a good parts car. I wish I had an interior as clean as that. That would really make the gray CV stand out.

Oh and that Lincoln is badaz!!! My favorite year Continental is still the '61 model year (with what looks like a Thunderbird grille), but that one you got comes real close to being my second favorite. Looks like you got access to some really nice rides.

Good gawd mang, that interior looks yummy! Especially that leather wrapped wheel.

That is a tow-package car, correct? Judging by the MCU, it's a Variable Venturi?
