just drove it home - seems to run and shift fine... needs shocks and VC gaskets... somethings alittle loose in the steering and I hear/feel a little drivetrain talking at low rpm / low speed but she runs

its a 89 with 113K on the clock

If that was an '86-'88 with a Manual Trans, you'd have a buyer (ME!).

Does the 2.9 sound good? Seems like 90% knock like crazy. Trans is an A4LD, not really all that bad. The newer 4R44E and 5R55E are based on it.

2wd broco II them tranys are fairly good in :P it's the 4x4's which put down a auto quick.. As long as the previous owner didn't over heat.( for a decent amount of time ) the tranys good to go. I imagine.

Theres a Broco II 90's modle 2wd like i said out front. over 400k on it. And the trany on it is finnaly starting to make weired noises. it's a 5 speed though ). Although. We had a 89 with an auto before. and it's a demn good truck hehe. or that one was. needed a tune up and that was it.

Naw the engine is quiet... the pile of service records make two big manilla envelopes pretty thick... Im hoping I got another $300 cherry...
I should be dropping the radiator in tonight.
