yea im keeping the AC. i havent had the chance to go to the junk yard and take pictures.

the other thing ill ask you guys is, when i torqued the intake manifold bolts and i got through all of them i went back and checked them and i could get a quarter to half a turn before they were back at the proper specs. i checked them this mornign and i could still get a quarter turn out of them. is this normal? should i jus tleave them alone or keep checking them?

No prob. There are several guys with pics of the A/C side of things, but I could get some pics too. It's actually relatively straightforward - I think the hardest part of the whole thing is making sure you have the right water pump bolts in the right places.

You did look at this pic, right?

Trying to think ... wasn't the attachment quota on your MSN.com e-mail address one of the problems? Maybe if you used or obtained or borrowed a Yahoo address? Pretty sure those all allow attachments well over 1 megabyte.

hmmmm. could mail me a copy too. oh i found out that i was trying to fit the AC bracket on, not realizing that the PS bracket was the alternator bracket as well. haha, that thing got cleaned up as well.

I tried e-mailing it to you at your MSN address in an attachment of 1.04 megabyte nominal size, and you said you weren't able to receive it.

Zip the file and then send it.

I made a self-extracting .exe, but he said his e-mail server blocked it. I'm prepared to re-send as soon as he arranges a way to reliably receive the file.

IC, just download WinZip (google it). It'll allow you to zip and unzip files to your little heart's content.

here are more pics of the motor. i ordered a new oil pan and valve covers for the motor so when they come in i can drop the motor in the car which i hope to do on sunday. course ill still need the basics like radiator hoses, oil, coolant, tranny cooler. stuff like that. i need to get a transgo hi-rev kit too to take advantage of all the stuff ive added. sill a lot of work but its getting close.

today i got the motor in the car finally. i still need to bolt it to the tranny and add the little things likw plug wires and stuff. the only thing though is i dont think my hood will close with the air gap manifold i got once i put the carb on. guess ill have to run a cowl hood. hehe dont bother me

so i spent like 9 hours friday working on hte car and i worked on it from 1130 this morning till 7 tonight on it and im still not done. BLAH!!!!!

friday was putting stuff on the motor like the water outlet, oil pan, valve covers and just gettign the motor in the car. course my cherry picker doesnt quite have the reach to easily drop the motor in so i finally had to pull the bumper off to get it in. course today i started things off trying to line up the holes in the flex plate with the studs on the converter. that took like 2 hours. then it just came down to things like putting the exhaust manifolds on and everythign.

course i still have to get my plug wires together cause i got an accel set wich is a pain in the but and get the carb hooked up. hopefully tomorrow ill have it runnign but its so close that im all restless. but yea its almost there.
