    Engine/Tranny rebuild-70k

I cane across my vic from my parents after mom hit a 80lb+ dog and totaled the front end out, she sat for 2yrs then after I graduated I took over her restoration.

Now after 3 months on the road she is running again, and I am having to replace things here and there but otherwise she runs fine.

As for the name "Gladys" I orignally wanted her to be called Bertha, but my cousin suggested Gladys and the name stuck....

Very nice. You say 4" stroke .... so you actually have a 408ci stroker kit in there?

I don't think Father Ford put the 2150 carb on anything after about '82 at the latest; did you swap out the VV, or was the 2150 on there when you got it?

                Holley

The reason me vic now has a 2BBL Motorcraft 2150 is that the old holley had a fucked up passing gear, or some shit that made it flood EVERY time you started the car....I bought the carb (current) of a friend o mine....when the car wasnt flooding the holley 2bbl still was a more worse carb so I removed it, thats part of the project tho...rebuild/rework it for better use... and it WILL go back on LOL

Ps. The current carb is of like a 1976 F-150, jus thought I'd mention it

Okay, interesting ... I think Sayineye has a Holley 2-barrel on his car as well. Not real common around here, since most of us just go straight for a four-barrel Holley or Edelbrock when upgrading. I actually tried rebuilding a Motorcraft 2150 for my LTD (even got a 302-2V manifold for it), but I evidently screwed something up big time because it would barely run. I needed the car to just operate, NOW, so rather than pull out more hair hassling with an antique, I went straight for an Edelbrock 1404 carb (500cfm) and 2121 manifold.

Original carb would have been a VV, not a Holley. A 1976 Motorcraft carb won't have the proper linkages for the AOD. Whats being used to hook the TV cables up? (yes, 91 351 cars have cables)
