good question...gotta be very similar...I cant see the Monte being a TON lighter...maybe a little.
I think GM needs to work on their wheel designs personally...they look...I dunno how to say it...umm...designed by a 10yr old I guess.

Lovin' it man, congrats on the purchase. I was at the NY international auto show back in April, and I must say, I'm impressed with what GM has out. The build quality and interior appearance and ergonomics have improved greatly over the past few years.

it's essentially the same car Pete, besides a few trim options, drive train is the same .... Impala = 4dr, monte carlo = 2dr.

My roommate has a 95 Monte, which he thinks is the shit.I keep trying to get though to him that the Monte Carlo died in the early 90's when they went FWD.

                      Another buddy of mine has a 87 Monte,with a 400 horse 355 in it,now that is a Monte Carlo!

Speed cost....how fast u wanna go??

It's not how much hp u have...
It's how much hp u can put to the track...

Let's seperate the men from the boys and put that power to the track using street tires and stock suspension components
