Oddly enough in the good motor section too, it didn't last long there, apparently someone realized that in spite of the fact it ran, the 4.2 is not a "good motor".
I remember you telling me about the 4.2 Vic. They are rare, because as you said, no one wanted them.

Oh and any way you see it, the door still has to come apart for either the electric windows and the cranks, the difference is that with the electric windows, ya gotta replace them more often. Twenty years, not bad, but try fifty and counting :p
If your window is like that, just fix it. I wait for the day that those cranks give up and just come off the panel like the door handle on the Pinto in Cujo. You stick it back in, and it works! Then, you wind down your window, to pay a toll, and then you can put it back up. Lucky for us power windows guys, (if you didn't put the window down all the way, you can pull the darn window up. but with cranks, that window isn't going anywhere, it's locked in that position whether you like it or not. And another thing with crank windows, the crank sits right in the way of my leg, making me uncomfortable. So you can keep your crank windows to yourself.

If there is a way of getting cats to fit with side pipes (flat black), I'd do that on the wagon. With those wheels and the paint, that would look the part of a mean boulevard bruiser.

            "Basemodel, big tires... RACECAR!"

HELL YEAH!!! A 357 with some GOOD heads, Stealth, wrAOD, 4.10s, some suspension and carb tweaking, should be mid 13s easy, and driven to and from.
Speed cost....how fast u wanna go??

It's not how much hp u have...
It's how much hp u can put to the track...

Let's seperate the men from the boys and put that power to the track using street tires and stock suspension components

'Tis infinately better to sit quietly and be thought a fool,
than to speak and remove all doubt.

Power windows suck in wagon form. And even base model wagons have at least one power window, the tailgate. Do you realize I had to drill holes in my mint tailgate (the only rust-free panel) to get the stupid motor out? And there is no door panel to cover the stupid holes, either. Now I've got a working Magic 3-Way Doorgate, but it's got three rubber plugs plugging up the bottom.

It took me seven months to get to my wagon to the passing inspection stage .

Thought it didn't burn oil if you left it a lil low on the stick? 2 a week, damn.

I like your car. That is what I learnt how to drive in, and spent most of my high school years hauling buddies around in. Mine (Moms) was brown but looked very much the same as that car

the old beast still lives.......fall 2008 i gave it to my friend bill cause he needed a car really bad........it's got 208,000 miles on it, and it uses a quart of oil every week, bill just replaced all 4 tie rod ends, the idler arm and the muffler, replaced the front brake pads, and i changed the iac for him at the same time......gotta help him patch a few holes in the body so it passes inspection, and get ivan to patch the rot hole in the frame too
