    "Nightmare"- kcsd823's '00 P71 "DUW"

For any of those interested or wondering here is a bit more info on what I have done to my P71.

    Exterior additions/changes-
'03 Mustang Mach 1 front spoiler, gunmetal shaded headlights and clear corners, Barbed-wire pinstripes, Painted door handles gloss black, Marauder rear spoiler, S-55 treatment to rear lights. "Nightmare" name added to rear, Ventshades on all four doors, Changed mufflers and added Marauder style tips (cut bumper cover for tighter fit of tips), painted rims gloss black and added highlights to centercaps. Getting ready to install my 255/55-16's on the rear.

    Interior-
Stock, for now, with Kenwood CD player and JCWhitney console. Getting ready to install a Lincoln console with floor shifter.

    Engine-
    All stock with some detailing.

with the bumper cover cut and the new tips on

I had just finished the S-55 treatment to the taillights and took this video for the new exhaust.

    ENJOY!:woot:

I even have a made-by-me 1/18th version of the car with spoilers for display at shows.

Sorry, they are little goofy, camera didn't want to work right

You've done some neat stuff to your car! I especially like what you did with the center caps on the wheels--I've never seen that before. Cool stuff, mang!

Thank you! I like to be different and not follow the crowd. Its hard to do with these cars. There isn't a whole lot out there for them.

That's just the beauty of it, though--the very fact that you're modding a Crown Vic is different, plus the lack of aftermarket support forces you to be creative and come up with your own ideas, which makes the whole uniquosity (not a real word, but it should be) thing a lot easier.

Nice looking whale, your mods are cool, not just for the sake of adding something.

Neato pics! A newer P71 is still at the top of my list of non-pushrod-powered cars I wouldn't mind owning in the future, and this is about the best-looking one I've seen. I agree with Nate about the center caps - may have to think about doing something similar with my police center caps one of these days.

Oh, and Nate, you can whack me upside the head when you come to visit - yesterday I saw a '00-ish Grand Marquis rolling on police wheels with beauty rings and didn't have the nerve to stop and harrass them and send them to GMN.

Couldn't agree more - beautiful car, love that spoiler on the front, it actually looks like a factory-option there! What Lincoln are you getting the center console and shifter off, Continental?

That's beautiful man, I agree with Ivan, that front spoiler looks factory. Do you have any plans for modding the drivetrain in the future?

Thanks guyz! I think the console is out of a Conti, not sure though. A friend has it. We need to remove the floor ducting for it to fit right. The console itself fits right but the shifter sits too high because of the duct. Just trying to get the time to remove the flooring.

Chains are rattling some now, so mods and etc are coming soon. Not sure what exactly yet.Hopefully all I need are the adjusters/guides. I still runs like a striped ape!

For any interested, it is now FOR SALE. I have found something I like and my other CV LX hasn't sold. Car runs fantastic and have driven it everywhere without incident. Like stated above there is some valvetrain noise and its had that since I purchased it in Feb, 06. I hasn't gotten any worse, performance isn't affected.

$5,000, PM me with questions or offers.
