You might like the wire looms I'm using on my car. They make these in different colors and styles
The front most clamp doesnt work on the side with the AC compressor, and I had to bend the tabs a bit so the loom rack stays closer to the valve cover to clear the compressor but it works out OK. I got them from Summit. Mostly I like them because it keeps the wires from being able to move and lay on the headers. My FMS wires had some scorch marks from that. Didn't want my brandy new Taylors to burn.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

Hey, I like those wire looms! Might have to get me a set of them...and the A/C compressor won't be an issue on mine.

I gotta ask, how much of a pain in the ass was doing that guage cluster. I Dont like the stock cluster on my 87 at all. And I was wondering what all I could do with it. I thought about relocating the stereo, molding custom clamshells in the dash, and you're set-up is flat out clean. I mean very very solid.
Would you be offended if I patterned my own new cluster on yours? You have that thing looking almost stock. Very nice!

no, I wouldnt be offended at all..actually would be flattered that you like the design that well.
my uncle is the one that did it and it just barely fits...but if you want to do the same amount of gauges, dont go any bigger than 3 3/8" for the tach and speedo.sigpic

I'd go with the vertical otherwise it will probably never clear the AC compressor.Last edited by gadget73; 10-06-2007, 03:43 PM.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

Reminds me, I should consider getting some little detailing cloths or something to see if I can keep my junk a little cleaner. It's starting to look a little gross under there - not horribly bad, but depressing considering I'd started out trying to make it look nice.
Any plans for getting some semi-flat Rust Tough and blacking out the hood and firewall?
