There should be a setscrew that adjusts the speed of the idle on the choke cam.

timing initial and total can be read from spark plugs as well as fuel mixture at cruse floored and idle. Each leaves its mark. Preigniton no mater how sever or mild can also be read as well as proper spark gap. Heat range can also be determined. All these things leave teltale indicators.Scars are tatoos of the fearless
