    Mark V Detail *DUW*

Well, my dad and I finally took a day to give the Mark V's exterior an overhaul.
it hasn't had a good wax in about a year or so. and it sits outside year 'round..not good for paint.
went over it with ScratchX and it did NOT want to come off...we had to take it up to a local spray car wash and rinse it down, then use the foaming brush to get it off.
when we came back, we put cleaner wax on it...when we took that off, it looked pretty nice.
it looks better than it has in about 2 years.

and here's how thin the paint has gotten..gone in some spots. :nonono: this is the trunk btw.

tomorrow we're going to use some of Meguiars Leather Cleaner/Conditioner on the seats...vaccuum the carpet and FeBreeze it.

Looks great. It's in need of some LSC turbines, i'm sorry but those wheelcovers just don't cut it.

Wrong bolt pattern I do believe. They look better with classic Turbines.

The earlier turbines are neat too

some turbines would look ok on it I think...Im not crazy about those hubcaps either....what about the Lincoln style turbines that are on some Mark Vs and 80s TCs?

                      yea, she's got the 400 V8.

if you see it up close in person, you can see all the rust and chips and dirt and thin paint and everything.
