That's why I use cheapo Walmart oil, gonna spend as little as possible while it's burning and/or leaking oil somewhere. I fill up more than enough for a complete oil change just trying to keep it filled for a couple months.
88 Town Car (wrecked, for sale)
Walker OEM duals with muffler deletes
Ok, so the Tank is running a bit ragged right now. Not always firing on all cylinders, but it gets the job done.
I did haul 486 lbs of scrap to the yard. In the trunk. Like a boss.
Also, swapped out the steel front bumper for an aluminum one. Dropped 6.2 lbs off and the running total is 113 lbs dropped.
Getting there.
I've hauled a 200# or there abouts... (whatever a healthrider 600hrc weighs in at) in the trunk of the 88 making the deck lid act like a giant wing over 50mph. Was interesting feeling the car try to lift the nose at 60 mph. Care barely squatted an inch with that load. I bet the tank had a good squat going with near 500# in the trunk.
Ok, so I had a belt shift in the right front tire.
Poop.
I was hoping that it would make it a little while longer before going.
That's ok. I'll get it aligned the week after next, and then throw the snow tires on it until spring. That's when I'll "spring" for 4 new summer tires.
And the exhaust needs to be welded up.
Soon enough. I hope.
How's the blue cloud of smoke treating you?
Must be nice to be able to drive down the road and have such a comfortable ride that, your car puts you to sleep.
Oh, so that belt shift wasn't a belt shift.
The adapter came loose and two studs broke off.
So I ordered a new hub because, let's face it, I could use a new one.
So just awaiting it's arrival!
