Are you sure you can handle the awesomeness that will be spewing all over the place while the pile of green and black parts are confined within that engine bay.
The Tank broke 205k Saturday.
It's doing quite well. Except for starting. I think it's a combination of the hot weather and the lack of oil.
This month looks promising. Lots of black and green to powder coat. Maybe a big brake upgrade. Who knows.
Besides that, nothing else to really report.
Bye.

I'm really curious to see how it works out for you. Sure as shit hope it comes out better than the white car's engine swap. If not, I can copy my OBD2 wiring notes, but I am not going to make another one of those harnesses. I'll consider building you a 302 harness though.

So, I'm gonna start working on the transmission issue on the Marauder so I can put the PI motor in here.
Hopefully, on Monday, I can pick up a spare harness so that I can take some time and modify it accordingly. Also, I have the 11.25" CVPI torque converter which is slightly better than the stock one, so that will be installed as well.
Just drove 498 miles on one tank of gas. 26.67 mpg. Theoretically, I could have gone 532 miles; that's with emptying the tank. I didn't have a spare can with me, so i didn't feel like playing the game last night.
Saturday, I'm heading back, and I will bring a gas can so that I may play the game and try and beat my current record of 516 miles.
It's almost a safe bet to say that the PI motor won't happen.
Had a small (huge) gas leak a few weeks ago and fixed that in less than 40 minutes. But the rust is getting quite bad now. You'll see at SF.
But, As long as I keep putting in gas and oil, it continues to haul ass.
I put a ton of miles on it this past month, with no shortage in the future. I may break my single year record this year.
I'd like to get the PI motor in before it goes away. I would like to enjoy it for a bit.
We'll see.
