Next friday, I go to the yard. Pulling PI intake manifold, 6G alt, bracketry, and stuff.
Also, pulling front door panels, a -pillar covers, trim stuff, glove box, steering column?, kick panels, floor lights, and rear overhead map lights.
Ordering the mounts, and gaskets today.
Went to the yard today.
Acquired:
-PI intake (Dorman stlye)
-Throttle body
-silicone heater core hoses
-silicone coolant return hoses
-alternator bracket
-tons of vacuum hoses and evap hoses and such. Whatever.
-the correct black a-pillar covers
-black kick panel trim
-2 mint condition side markers

I left the alternator charge cable and alternator there. I'm not sure if I can use it. The 200+ amp police alternator, I mean.
I found a 1994 Grand Marquis in the yard with only 48k on it. Seriously. Smells like excellence (not piss).
Teaser:
Pics of the finds will be posted tomorrow sometime.
it always pisses me off when I have to take parts off a car in the junkyard that is far and away a better car than what I'm trying to fix. Several times over the years I've found stuff that I'd have even-up traded my car for. One was that nice Mark VI that my seats came from, it was just too damn nice to deserve what it got.

I am in negotiations right now. Straight up, TOJ II for a tenative TOJ III.
If not, i'll pay him for exclusive rights for parts on that car, disassemble, then reassemble at home.
Or trailer it out as a parts car...
PI swap will have to wait til spring. The baby is due in a few weeks, and I don't want to run out of time. And I reallllly don't want to drive the Marauder in the winter. Not a good idea.
So, it waits until spring. I'll have everything I need by then. And hey, I may have lots of parts powder coated by then!!
Sorry for the let down!
Oh, I still have to rape that 94 in the junkyard.
