possibility of a TOJ3...

i have isssues with the TOJ2:
1. muffler is rubbing on the drive shaft
2. water pump is now leaking statically
3. the left rear caliper seized and broke the rotor off the disk.(its incrediable)
4. fuel lines are broken and need imediate replacement
5. motor is sucking down an abnormal amount of oil. i dont like it.
6. tranny is leaking like a dirty sob

its getting older and really doesnt like the cold. i hope it can hold up through the winter

yeah, thats a nice equation....
rear wheel DOES NOT come off the car+lazy brake change+WNY winter+intense highway use=sickening brake failure.

updates, TOJ is back on the road. fuel lines fixed. new water pump. i dropped the pump driven fan in favour of the MarkVIII electric fan.
the drive shaft DOES NOT rub on the muffler. thats only because i had the car 2 feet in the air, and the whole suspension had no weight on it.
getting my "cats" welded on friday night.
and i still need to fix my rear brake. and get a new tire.
never ending cycle.

christmas eve, driving to my parents house and little puffs of steam start coming out of the hood.
Tis' the season.........

i thought i blew another intake manifold gasket. i just replaced those in july. so i put a little coolant in it and went with it.

saturday, at my aunts house for a bday party. went to leave, and flat right rear.
i have a spare. no jack. no lug wrench. my aunt had to call AAA. and the spare is a donut. looks ridiculous on the car.

so now im stuck a 40mph with a car thats overheating.
solution:
damn near brand new rim and tire ( it matches) from the junkyard: $31.15
1 gallon of the good anitfreeze: $10.89
2 feet of 3/4 heater hose: $5.25

the line going from the waterpump to the heatercore had severed. probably from all the high reving last week while stuck in the snow.

everything is good.
