The 93 GM "Tank of Justice II" (TOJ2)

Here we go....

Let it be known, that today, the Tenth day of July, two thousand eleven, I purchased :
1 2006 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor 4.6L 250hp PI motor
1 2006 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor 4R75W transmission

Both with just over 70k miles on them.
I pick it up Wednesday.
So, let the Grabber Green and flat black commence!!!!!
This is gonna be awesome.
And as soon as the Tank is all fixed up, it's blower time. This means, since the Tank is getting a whole new drive train, it's time to officially update the Tank's name (as soon as the mods are complete)

I hope so. It should help with the get up and go. I've heard of guys with PI motors getting great mileage. I will still keep the 2.73s.
I would like to find that threshold of power to efficiency.
And there's nothing a tune can't fix.

I can't wait for tomorrow!! I get to go pick up the combo and then, it's on!!!
Looking at Trick FLow upper plenum and a bigger THROTTLE BODY. F.
And it looks like I'll have to get a SCT tune from Lonnie to make this all work. Which means, I get a go fast tune, and an economy tune. Woot!
If I were you, now would be the time to buy stock in Dupli-Color. They make Grabber Green........

MMMMmmmm....

Ok, so after the guy at the yard almost dropped this combo on my head and arm, we got it home.
They included all the accessories, the oil cooler things (awesome) coolant reservoir, and power steering reservoir, along with th transmission harness, and front 02 sensors. I do, however, need a new water pump pulley (underdrives?).
Also snagged some sweet Silverstar directional side marker light bulbs. The cool amber ones, that have that iridium blue-like coating. Found them on a T-bird. And snagged my 3rd master switch cover thing.
Anyways, here's the initial pictures:

Put some SilverStar's in the reverse lights. WOW!!! I actually have 2 reverse lights that work like whoa! I had a pair of 9-13 bulb ( I can't rememer) White LEDs in there. Didn't work too well. I think I have 4 of them lying around. I'll bring'em to SF. Bulb # 3157. If anyone wants.
Also, put on 2 new brass battery terminal leads.
Prepping, cleaning, taping, Painting, painting, painting, taping, cleaning.
I think you'll like the end result. Might finish up Sunday or Monday. On the painting part.

the silverstars I have in the Mark are quite nice. I bet the cleaner lenses on yours make it even better.

They are clean for now. I'm actually in the process of tinting them. You'll see.

Dyno time

Scheduled some tenative dyno time on Saturday. $75 for three pulls. And I can make minor adjustments in between runs.
So the runs should look like this:

First run- Stock airbox, stock intake, stock throttle body, no thorttle body spacer, and possibley the fan.
Second run- CAI, thottle body, no fan
Third run- Install throttle body spacer

Hopefully, I can have numbers and graphs posted sometime Saturday evening.
I'm going to dyno after the motor goes in to see how big of a jump I get.
