Yeah, just remnants of the outer shell remain. The inside of the rocker panels are gone. Rust was starting to come through on the outside, so I sand blasted and did a quicky bondo. Looks fine with the moulding reinstalled!

Finally got some video of the beast...

Here she is last winter with the same exhaust as now, except for the cast iron manifolds and catalytic converters.

And here it is now, with HO headers, gutted cats, and....leaks.

Oh yeah, forgot about taking pix of the hitch, sorry mang. Yes, I had to drill the bumper to mount it. It's kind of a hokey design, really. The hitch uses exhaust pipe clamps to attach it to the shock absorbers on teh bumper, and then the plate in the center that the hitch itself mounts in has a couple of holes in it that you put bolts through.

Ended up being a project and a half because that bumper has a stamped steel cover on teh back of it, so I had to take the rear bumper off and then make new mounting plates for it since the old bolts twisted off...ugha.

I hear that. What tires are $230 though? I have nice michelin X radial LT's (on my cop wheels). they were $400 for 4. I bought them at Sam's Club. Good price. The Yoko AVIDs were only like $320 for the four.

I don't even know what brand they were. They came from "Discount" Tire Company. The tires themselves were like 81 apiece, the rest was labor. Kinda felt like I got bent over to get the darn things, though.

Ahh I see. My Dad has a tire machine (pneumatic COATS 20/20). We do cash and carry when we buy tires; put them on ourselves.

My Yoko's were a package with the wheels though. $900 for wheels, tires, mounting, dynamic balance, and front end alignment (tax too).
