        wow! nice find...the 351M is a modded big block interchanging 351 and 400 parts on one motor i belive the tearm is "cleavor". they wernt the best motors. i talked to alot of die hard ford guys and sounds like the internals arnt great and some naturally knock...i say drop a 460 in that bitch! lol hey mike, know anyone who wanta a 91 merc for 400bux? and i will trade you some other hubcaps for those dog dish caps!

          Normally I'm not a big fan of wheel skirts, but those look good on there, and I like the wires!

              Here are some more pics. I spent the day cleaning the car and painted the skirts. Also played around with wheel covers to see which ones I liked the best. So far the spokes I think.

                Given the choices there, I'd DEFINITELY stick with the wires. The stamped covers are looking a bit cheap IMHO.

                That paint must not be faded hardly at all if you got the fresh paint on the wheel skirts to match that well! Or did you have some paint custom-mixed?

                          why does everyone like those skirts? take em off often and clean the wheelwells out well......dont see many skirted cars cause they all rotted away

                          1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt
