I think the Cragars would compliment the other exterior mods that you guys call "rice." I think the real set back on an otherwise beautiful vehicle was the hubcaps. That car should stop traffic now with the racing wheels. Good job on that mang!!!!!

Thanks guys! Hell yeah I want you wheels! The wheels that I picked out were almost an old Pontiac style "rally" wheel. They look good. They're temporary until I get a brand new set of Cragars. Thanks guys!

I got mine at Belle Tire for $48/wheel with the center caps included...the chrome lugs were an extra $20...avergage price for those.
The particular brand that Belle Tire carries for my wheels(also made by Cragar and many others) is AWC...Im not sure what it stands for...I want to say Allied Wheel Company.

the center caps I got are just plain smooth...but I'm thinking of getting some spoked ones if I can...

these are so glossay and shiny in person...you woul dlove them...and they pretty easy to clean.
9/10 times I just take a Microfiber towel and 2-3 sprays of Quick Detailer and its clean....unless it gets mud on it or something like that...then I use a hose and wheel cleaner
if you dont really need raised white letter tires like I have...you can also get these in 16s and I believe in 17s as well.

                    they might be...I dunno.
they really dont have any labels on them to be able to tell for sure.
but that sounds right...they said something about 97s...but I initially told them I wanted the Cragar Quick Trick Is...but I didnt know so many companies made those at the time..so they searched and asked me if I absolutely had to have the Cragar Center Caps...which I didnt.

Your car is absolutely awesome with those wheels and tires. I'm going for the raised white letter tires. I believe that a good set of wheels and tires really sets off a great car!

                        thanx mang...I appreciate the compliment.

and yea, you're totally right about that..there's not a mang or womang on this earth that would disaggree.
I love white lettered tires for some reason...something about the look of them moving goes so well with the rumble of a V8.

and I personalyl dont really like the look of a Box without some sort of white on the tires...blackwalls aint really my thing...but if it has some chrome wheels to compensate, that's different...like Tiggie with his Cragars...or Moneypit...just to name a few.

LOL... I don't think an 18" tire would like right with RWL, as much as I love RWL.

As for my comments on the car...
I like the color, I can stomach the stripes, the mirror are okay, but the stick-on shit... I vomit in my mouth a little...

If I wanted to make a box look different...
I'd lower it waaay down, fabricate a chin spoiler for the front, black out everything, add some really wide 16" steelies with fat meats, fabricate a Dodge Daytona style spoiler for the back, make up some fender flares, mold some fiberglass side skirts with side exit exhaust, paint it gloss black with dark tint and have a white strip on the side that starts pointed at the front and widens out further back and takes a turn to go over the wing in the back with a "302" centered in the stripe at the back of the front fender. The interior would be gutted, it would have a 6-point cage, harnesses and recaro buckets, with a custom fab'd dash. Also, the hood would be cut along the outer lines and raised 4" to make it into a cowl hood.

Road race Panther- THAT'S how to do different.

Well, that's your opinion. This is not the only car that I have for a toy. I spend my money equally on each and every project. I am currently undergoing a restoration on a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am.

With that being said, there is not enough in the budget to do things like that to the car right now. Like I said before, everyone is different. I guess the car's like anchovies...either you absolutely love it, or you absolutely hate it. I'm happy with it and that's all that really matters to me. I believe that if the owner loves their car, then go for them! You can't worry about other people's damn opinions. It's all up to you.
