Hey OldBlue, I just yesterday noticed that you have bullet-style sideview mirrors. What are those off of?

Those actually aren't off of anything. They are new. They are the universal fit type. I think it really adds to the car's appearance.

very interesting. I've thought of trying bullet mirrors on my car, but didn't know whether this or that application would line up right. So are those the ones with flexible mounts instead of remote wire controls?

so where did you get them mang?
they do give the car a meaner look...maybe I should get a set.
another thing to waste my money on.

Yes, they have to be adjusted manually. No wire controls at all. I purchased them at a place called Advance Auto. If I recall correctly, they didn't cost very much either. There were several styles to choose from but I chose these. I believe they are called "dual sport mirrors."

I agree, they do give the car a more aggressive look than the stock mirrors do.

Hey, it's his car. If it were mine, would I do the same thing he's done to it? Probably not. But at least he had the guts to do something a little different that hasn't been done a thousand times before. And personally, I think it's kinda neat looking.

Thanks. That's what I wanted. I wanted something unique. I love these cars but I wanted to expand my ideas and creations. I believe that if you have the time and effort to make a car "yours" then go for it. I've had people who absolutely love the car and I've had people who absolutely hate it. Everyone has different tastes. If we were all the same, wouldn't the world be boring?

ah Cmon, Moneypit...his car dont look that bad...he does have some nice styling cues on it.
like the Bullitt mirrors...the vents on the windows...the window tints...the blacked out grille/bezels...
I cant say I really approve of the wheels....but I do kinda like the white stripes going up the front and rear fenders.

Thanks! I hated the wheels too. Those are no longer on the car. I haven't got around to taking new pics yet...
