No burnouts.
I think my transmisson is either misadjusted or bad. When I goose it (like if I were to merge on a highway), the engine roars but the damn thing won't go. I'm not sure if it's misadjustment or not. The fluid is at the correct level, and it does not smell burnt, it is red. So I don't know what to think.

but seriously maybe you should have a mechanic take a quick look at it and see what he says if you feel somethings wrong.

The Tranny has been rebuilt! with a new flywheel and starter! from what john tells me it starts right up and shifts strong! i cant wait to ride in it this weekend MANG!

Mine will smoke the tires all day, I have had my 87 goin for about a month and already need new tires

i just love after smoking the tire for a good minute, hearing the tires kick up everything on the road up into the wheelwells for a couple miles after the burnout occured. I have to go outside now and have some fun.

Took it to the inspection station. It failed for emissions. HC and NOx to be exact.
NOx was 1151, but the standard was 1146
HC was 172, but the standard was 152

What determines these values?

You should try to get that to a private inspection facility, In the end you'll end up paying about the same price, if not more for whatever repairs are needed to get that car to pass. I've been there B4, not fun.

Gonna have to, I was afraid that the thing wouldn't pass inspection. Suprisingly though, it passed for every other damn thing, even Carbon Monoxide and the safety test.

Perhaps you might have to do that dual upgrade sooner than later and get some fresh cats on there. That might help out enough to pass the car.
