Nice-looking Yamaha. I should probably get a small motorcycle one of these days, but it's far from being a priority at present. If I can only have one, it should probably also be small enough that my wife can ride it comfortably, since she likes motorcycles better than I do. She used to have a '95 Rebel 250 at her parents' house in Alaska, and she's interested in getting maybe a Rebel 450 once we've been settled in our new house a few years. I'm just hoping the 450 model has more knee room - I didn't drive her old 250, but I sat on it, and I'm not convinced it'd be safe for someone over about 5'5" to operate the thing. :p

General question, what motorcycle engine constitutes the small-block Ford or Chevy of motorcycles, as in cheap, fun, simple, and dead reliable?

I don't think that front headlamp is going to do you any good.... Kinda points down too far...

lol, well I didn't feel like spending another 3 hours on something that don't make a whole lot of difference to the overall concept. Besides the headlight is gonna get mounted through a different bracket, cause the stock chrome pieces just plain sucked.

                  Long fender, in my opinion.

shorter but cut it back to around the 10-11 o clock position. It would look sick. Short fenders FTW.

Mercmarquis, I would do that in a heartbeat, but I'm a little concerned with the rear wheel picking up crap and throwing it right on my back and in my neck - I got a mountain bike with bigass knobby tires that I take to the dirt every now and then and let me tell ya, the feeling of loose mud on yer neck trying to run down yer back ain't the most pleasant in the world

I dont think it would if you leave it to around 10-11 o clock...but why the hell would you ride it in the mud anyway? I dont think you got much to worry about
