Wow, that looks so unusual, I like!

However, I am a BIG supporter of "four eyed pride"...

Looks like a nice car, mang! Another reason to want to go to cali!

Awesome 79'. I paid $500 for mine and it doesn't look half as good.

The early cars had some neat options, those mirrors being one of them.

            damn that does look good!!!

BTW i also had a '79 boneville.... brown, yellowish interior, pontiac 301 v8 w/ 2bbl rochester, it was the most quietest, smoothest car i ever drive in my entire life. you can have all the windows rolled down in the middle of the night with noone around and NOT know the engine is running. slow as a mother, but smooth and that 'radial tuned suspension' made it feel like a damn cadillac.

rust got to it and had to sell. this was 7 years ago.
            LTD is still here

That actually looks really cool on your car Colin, subtle modernization, I like it.

I don't know, I don't really like the uni-lamp setup. Something about it just doesn't set right with me, but I can't put my finger on it.

I think my main issue with it on an '88-'91 Merc is that it'd require hacking the bezels, which I think are pretty cool as-is. Come to think of it, the same-year Vics would as well, but I'm maybe a little less sold on the look for some reason.

Wow, can't believe I missed this one. That's a great looking 79 in great condition, and that headlight mod is kickass, i'll add that to my future mod list. Keep up the good work mang, and i'd love to see a pic or two of the 79 Pontiac.

And Colin, it doesn't look quite right cuz the lights are a bit too small in that pic, they don't fit. If they were resized to fit properly, it'd look great like his do.

Good God,that thing looks extremely clean on the exterior for being a 27yr old car.I think the car looked better with the original "four eyes" and Chrome bezels, but if you like it more power to ya.

I'm actually thinking about taking on a 79 LTD Landau Sedan as my next project.
