Great find. A paintless dent repair place can definitely make that body damage less noticeable if not even disappear completely.
Very nice car.~David~

my car starts and it has AC. Yours doesn't start and it has no AC. Seems obvious to me.

Later model EATC conversion for the '94? I forgot it does need sun load sensor and BDA. About the same amount of work as a heater core, but I actually don't mind that job on the aero dash. '94 should still be simple like '91 (no rear heat or extra computers on the trans tunnel.)Vic

It could be the shitty chineese starter I put on it, haven't inspected it yet. Scraped on start up, and parked it. If you want it....he'll evaluate deal for you, PM. Younknow it's solid as you rat fucked it with me on pickup.

You can get it close using a built in low side gauge in a can, but that only counts if it shows true PSI, not a range of yellow, green and red. Without a full set of real gauges on it to read both the low and high sides you really won't get a true idea of where the system is at.
You could throw some R-134a in it with UV dye and see if you can find the leak and go from there. I've located/repaired several systems using that method. Of course once you open the system the receiver/dryer has to be replaced along with whatever else was leaking. Then vac. the system for an hour and then let it sit. If it holds ~29-30Hg of vac after the hour then recharge with the correct amount of 134a and should be good to go. There are charts out there that show what the low/high side pressures should be based on relative humidity and ambient temperature while recharging as 134a will show a higher pressure in hotter outside temps. These are highly engineered precision vehicles, the first step in diagnosing the problem is to strike the suspected offending part sharply and repeatedly with a blunt object, then re-test.

What's the plan for the front end refresh? Keeping it stock or going for later brakes?

Already wire wheeled it, hit again with some sandpaper and por 15 everything in the front. Edge of the door skin bottom had such a light coat of rust, it practically fell off.
Everything but the drag link is being replaced. Keep the brakes stock for now. But I did get that ADTR front sway bar....that and new KYB monos and it should be a cruiser.Last edited by Grand1; 05-18-2023, 06:17 PM.

Never been superstitious but it all happened pretty cool. Saw the car listed on Facebook, the minute it was posted. No message back. 10,minutes latter, I drove home from my girlfriends house, as I went up the country road, there it was. Did a 180 and went in the driveway and met the orginal owner. He said " 4 people are already going to start looking at it in a couple of hours."
He worked in the Wixom plant, where my 78 was made... showed him a picture and he was stoked. Told him the car is sold, he said "you don't want to drive it?" Nope, you got the orginial window sticker up and just the body itself sold me.
When I get this cherry, I will show it to him.Got all new headlamps, chrome trim, etc.coming in. When its all done and said, I bought it for $2000. And am about $1300 in it (including new tires and the above)
To have a car like this for under $3500 is something.
