    THE CHERRY BOMB -DUW-

THE BOMB IS BACK! After over two weeks of waiting, The Cherry Bomb is back, and looking much better than before.

I thought I would seize the remaining daylight to take some pictures of the Bomb.

I'd like to thank my friend for letting me use his yard.

And this is what she looked like when I first got her...

I need to complete the black out still, but that should start up once again later in the Spring. The front needs to be touched up, and the taillight chrome needs to be painted.

    Boomerang antenna is a must.

Dual exhaust and hopefully an HO upgrade will be done this year.

Looks great, mang! Though I have to admit, I'm not a huge fan of the fenderskirts. Looks better without 'em if you ask me. That said, it's your car, and if you like 'em, that's the important thing.

How is your paint so shiny and your panels so straight! I'm jelous!

I think that makes you the first on GMN to have skirts.

PS My new wagon might be the same color as your car I just noticed... (except teh wagon is faded and rusting).

Looks good man! You need to get some westleys bleach white for those whitewalls to make them nice and white. If you get those cleaned up it will look like it just rolled off the lot.

Get taller white-wall section tires, lol. It'll give it that classic cruiser look!! And some chrome turndowns out the back... that'd be sweet.

Likin' the fender skirts though. Makes it look that much larger!!

Looks like the wheel skirts arent big enough or something, not really sure I dig the look. Also needs some turbines, wanna buy a set? Looks like they did a pretty decent repair job at least.

I must have missed something, was the Bomb involved in a crunch-O or something? Still, it looks awfully good.

I see a lot of cars on here with blacked-out grilles and headlight bezels, but chrome everything else. Of course, doing a hackjob on a full blackout treatment like I did isn't quite the thing either. Any plans for further out-blacking?

Get this...The paint is that shiny with only a half-ass wash job by the body shop.

Yeah, the whitewalls definitely need to be cleaned. When it comes time to get new tires, I want taller white walls.

1987cp; Yeah, the Cherry Bomb was hit back on January 2. Parking lot accident...Still got the insurance to pay for it though. If you check out my Car Domain, the pics are still up there.

And yes, actually, I was thinking Arby's then. Whenever I'm over at my friend's house, we usually go to Arby's anyways.
