And yea, how the hell did you get that off?!?! I've got a skull I'm dying to put on mine.

I just used a pair of plyers & pulled like hell. I've had that skull on my past 3 cars. Mostly all shifters either just pull off or has a small allen bolt.

Our cars have shifters that just pull right off. Keep in mind all I pulled off was the very tip & the shull is not tight. It does spin but it will not come off,

I have a small screw in one of the holes on the bottom of the skull holding it on.

Whiting, eh? I grew up in Munster and lived in Lake Station for a few years after that, and I got my '87 at Art Hill Ford in Merrillville. Looks like you're having fun ... the BFG's with the stock hubcaps look kind of cool.

            MMMmmm...Chocolate Merk!
Very nice..I really like the skull shifter, lock knobs and steering spinner thingy!
oh, and the BFG tires look great! really add to the car's look along with the mudflaps.
BTW, here's a little tip on the wheels:
If you take some Q-tips and some rags, along with a little quik detailer to the middle section behind the small spokes, they will look AWESOME! It takes some patience, but it will be well worth it. From then on, whenever you wash the wheels, they WILL shine. like this:

you would not believe the difference til you see it...
just a suggestion. you will need a lot of patience for that, unless you can somehow get the small spokes off.
heck...you can send the hubs to me and I'll take the time to clean them

Brown interior? for some reason I always thought that looked really nice in a box, and those are the nicer GM seats.

The hubcaps do come apart. Ray did that to his on his wagon, and they look amazing.

                  Thanks guys

Thanks guys I'm supprised I am getting such a good respomce.

Trust me she looks a lot better in the pics than in person.

When I first got the car I did take the hubs apart & cleand them thoroughly. But that was almost 2 years ago.
Some time soon I'll take them apart again & clean them up real good.:megadeth:

Does anyone know a good place to get the red center thing? My local junk yard (pick & pull) very very rarely has them & the charge A LOT for them. Also what the hell are they called??

I only have 2 of them. If you look real close on the pic from the side you can see one missing. I only have one on each side of the car! & the 2 caps that don't have the center are messed up so I can't put a center in them.

In other words I need 2 new hub caps & 1 new red center thing. One of the two I have is damaged.

I can't tell where the flames are supposed to be on your car...

                      But everything else looks great!

The flames are all the way along both sides & on the hood & over all the emblems. I put the flames on them & cut out the letters with an exacto knife.

If you look at the pic of the rear end you can see the flames on the trunk. Also if you look at the close up of the fender looking down the side you can kinda see the flames on the fender.
