Ive been feeling some sensation like the tires have flat spots... sure enough they do. I stored them standing up, leaning slightly back and sure enough the inner edge of at least the front tires have a flat spot I guess I should have stored them laying down!!! Hopefully some high speed runs will smooth it out....
This thing needs both an ignition switch and a wiper/turn signal switch... sometimes the ignition thumb tabs get misalighned with the switch and you cant get the key in... but in this situation you can usually start it without the key, lol.
some of the intermittend wiper settings dont work unless you fiddle with the switch, and then they will quit when you use the signal, then start working again with the next signal
I think I will just leave these be for now....
Also the door doesnt quite line up right never could seem to get it adjusted right. its not too bad though....
In-gear idle is kinda lurchy when its warmed up... still runs damn good Im just gonna keep on truckin untill the 1st of the month time is well past and I have some money to spend...

Most larger diameter wheels do look like crap on these cars, but IMHO, most larger diameter wheels have crap for style anyways, they just go with the crap for style cars they were made for.
It depends on what you consider large diameter. If you're referring to 19"+, yeah they would look like crap, but 17" and possibly 18" wheels don't look too bad, so long as you lower the car and get the right tire. To the contrary, I think it is the shear size of these panthers that make 17" and 18" wheels work; 15" wheels look good (like Tiggie's car, congrats on the POTM), but they look small on these cars and in my opinion they are more suited for smaller drag oriented cars. My ma's car (pics in the Newbie Section) doesn't look too bad; I just need to replace the 225 45R17 tires with 225 50R17 tires to fill up the wheel wells more and lower the front end about 1-1/2".

Someone on Cardomain had a pic of a Vic with 26" rims. What a joke. Personally, I'm not so sure about the 18s, though - maybe I'm too fuddy, but I don't usually like rims bigger than 17".

I think the large white letters really do it... but I'm quite partial to white letters, lol.

Well it turns out I had a bad power lock and window lock switch in the drivers door. Probably from the switches living inside the leaky rusty grey doors panel for who knows how long. After some junkyard fresh switches, they are funtioning normally except for 2 windows and 2 power locks not working
I also replaced the drivers door weatherstrip, and a couple small things
I put new bushings in the RR window motor, and hopefully this motor I got off eBay will work to replace the RF one thats dead dead. 91 motors dont have the easy to replace brushes like the older ones
And according to my boss's wrenches, I have a 1 1/16" front bar
I need to shampoo the carpet and finally polish the sides and wash the glass.
This has turned out to be a helluva decent box for $300. Total money in it so far is like $250 (not including junkyard parts) so $550 total.
thanks mang!
yeah i guess since the wiring for the other doors goes through the master switch, if its bad than the others wont work.
heres an interesting small-world story for yous....
The other day I went to Norhtern Tool for some stuff (in the 91), and parked next to a nice '03+ gold GMQ. Sure enough when I came out, an older couple was in it, waiting for me the guy said "did you buy this from my son??" sure enough these were the previous owners parents... "I thought I recognised my car" he said, lol.
He said hes glad I am putting it back together, he didnt like the grey door either he liked the turbines too
