    Who knows? Could be it was high idling anyway...the linkage on that carb acts a little goofy now and then.

      Ok I feel like a little less of a jackass now.

      BTW every time I see your car I want an 88-89 PI model.

        If you find a PI at a decent price in good shape, jump on it. I've NEVER regretted buying this one, plus they handle quite well right from the factory, so that part of the project is already taken care of. And I LOVE that 351...

        Oh, and there was no reason to feel like a jackass in the first place. You were just looking out for the health of my bearings.

            Uhhhh...no....it's been carbureted since 1989.

              I do too, only thing is I want a tudor, so if I want a 351 in a tudor i'll have to do an engine swap. That'll be fun.
