Well didn't you strip a full-size Mopar for whatever reason this summer?

That was actually a little A-body, but yeah. I dunno what those doors weighed, all I can tell you for sure was they weren't light. 50-60 lbs apiece, maybe?

New pics, first the engine bay:

Then the whole care after washing out the half-year-old dirt and dust, notice the rear deck is now painted to match the rest of teh car:

What's that unsightly blue box just in front of the cruise control doohickey?

1990+ used that as the vacuum reservoir. They disguised the function by sticking the ac, fuel, and ecm relays on the side under a cover. It makes it looks like some sort of electronical doodad, but its just a sealed plastic box.

I like it. I love when someone does something different. and that was defiantly a gutsy move, I just hope you're never out and it just starts pooring.

If it starts raining I can get it covered in just about a minute. It will also get a snap-on ragtop like a fullsize Bronco/Blazer, which is another reason the rear windows were removed.

Thain, this vacuum canister had no electronics attached to it, there ain't no provisions for attaching nothing really.

Snap-on ragtop sounds interesting. Is it something you can piece together from existing older designs, or will you have to design something entirely new?

I gotta go to the junkyard and measure up a Bronco and a Blazer, but I think tis very possible that something ready-made will fit fairly decent.

You can also check Ramcharger tops too if a Bronco/K5 top doesn't fit.

Do they have removable hard tops? Don't think I've ever seen one with the cap off...

The real early ones did... maybe 81 and back? Something like that.

Yeah the 74-80's had removable hardtops and some had removable soft tops if that's how you ordered it.
