I was gonna put speedholes in my inner bumper supports, but i cut speed sections in them i.e. all but the bare minimum was removed.

cool my cuz and i wanted to get a fiberglass cobra R SVO hood for the 89 CV but we arent sure how to cut the glass and the CV hood to get it to mount together we know it will be a lot of work but hey its bad ass. I like your hood pretty cool

A fiberglass '87-'93 Mustang cowl hood scoop might look better on your '89 CV.

It might have the heigth, but im not sure if it has the width or legnth to clear it. My set up is pretty tall as it is though.

Yep...did the same to my 87. The problem is the actual bumper is still a heavy ass peice of steel. Damn thing still was strong enough to withstand a 10mph or better run into a wall. (I wasn't driving the car)
