    I need $1220

    Nightime Visibility Goodness

I wonder how good those kits are? I think at some point I'm going to buy a set. So far that site is the only one I've seen with the 4"x6" sealed beam HID kits. Everyone else had the ricer-riffic conversion headlamps you just stick a bulb into. :nonono:
Save a seal, club a liberal.

yeah some of the shitty ones are plastic....

in my state, anything like that has to be DOT and SAE approved and have it stamped on the lense....

Actually I think thats a requirement in all states, just depends how close they look for the markings. I know here in NJ they don't look, if it glows its good.

I hate the assholes with HIDs those things are too fucking bright. It used to give me head aches when someone had those and drove behind me in another car.

in a nutshell, rice is anything that gives a false appearance of speed and/or is cheesey enough to be rediculous.
The definition will vary from person to person (opinion to opinion) but thats the jist of it.

I have the standard old quad headlight sealed beam crap and they're bright as hell. My high beams are original too.

A rice rocket is a slang term applied to Japanese-made sports bikes. The term is derived from the speed of the motorcycle (rocket), and the "Japanese" origin of the vehicles (a reference to cultural and historical importance of the rice crop in Japan). The term is sometimes used derogatorily, implying that American and/or European vehicles are superior to Japanese made vehicles, but, as with many slang terms, may also be used neutrally or even as a term of affection, depending on the speaker and context.
Rice Rocket is an American slang for imported Japanese cars often modified, customised, and tuned for performance or racing use. Rice Rockets often have modifications such as added internal performance parts, body kits, lighting modifications and custom paint/decal designs.
Additionally, rice rocket is sometimes used synonymously with the term rice burner.
