I was thinking about freshening up the steelies on the Vic. I was thinking repaint them with a gloss black, get some trim rings, a set of chromed lugnuts, and slip through center caps. You guys think it would look like ass? I think it would look tough, without giving it a coppish look if you know what I mean.

It would look nice, yes. Good luck finding a slip-thru center that will fit tho. I think '99% of those are designed for aftermarket wheels with a big ass center hole.

You will not be able to run a pull though center cap on factory steelies. The center hole in the wheel is matched to the side of the hub, a sheet of steel will not fit inbetween the hub and the wheel.

Dude do it. Since the slip through you can get the bolt on type like the ones below but in the 5 x 4.5 bolt pattern.

Those still have to go thru the center hole. The bolt circle goes behind the wheel.
