The red and blue like that reminds me of a confederate flag. Try a blackor white body w/the blue stripe

The stripes on the picture don't look as good as they actually will look. The program I've got just doesn't let me do detail work.

I can't change the body color because my program doesn't have any adjustment to the color transparency. So if I change the color I loose all the body lines and it ends up looking like a big blob.

I'm beginning to lean towards totally blacked out with the grabber blue Boss stripes. I think that would look sick!!

MY Boss stripes or the S&H? I was going to go blue with black stripes but I'm really liking the idea of the black with blues stripes. The stripes will really pop on the black body. But I've got a lot of work to do before the body will be straight enough for paint. I might give it a quick rattle can paint job to begin with.

Also, IMO, leave the door handles and window trim chromed, and black everything else.

you should do a black primer. try it out and see if you like it. if you rattle it, its gonna be alot tougher to sand down and prep for paint.

Sorry Nick, No chrome or stainless. The only chrome I'm considering at all is possibly some Magnum 500 rims to tie into the whole Boss theme. I've got a picture of a Black 69 Boss 429 with some 15"x10" Magnum 500's on the rear of the car at it looks mean as hell!:devil2:

                    Tom, Hell yea!!! :headbang::headbang:

LTDmasta I've got a lot of equipment to buy before I'll be able to do a good paint job on this car. Like a new compressor, HVLP spray guns. Not to mention find somewhere to spray it. So it may be a while before I can do it. So I'm just going to rattlecan it to have it look a little better. Then when I do the actual paint job I'll just use chemical stripper. Take it down to bare metal and start over. I might be swapping body shells anyways.

I'm also thinking about about trying the new House of Color Auto-Air colors paint. Which is a waterbased base coat.

Dude no offense, but imo I think grabber blue would look lie total ass on a vic, and a black car with blue stripes never looks good. The blue and black will always look like purple in a way. maybe you can combine the two, all black with a charcoal or white boss stripes. I think that would look bad ass and if you black out the grille and such like blaze86vic did with the chrome frames and black center, it would really set it off

As far as Grabber blue looking like ass on a Vic. It's a good thing my car is a LTD and not a Crown Vic!!

The three choices I'm considering are:

Everything Black, all trim, grill, bumpers, door handles, everything.

Grabber blue, black boss stripes all trim etc blacked out.

Blacked out body, Grabber blue stripes.

Sorry man I think chrome and stainless look like ass on anything newer then 1973 vehicles. I'm just not into it. And black and white are definately not my color combination. No Skunk jokes for me. If the car is going to have any stripes they are going to be either black or blue.

But to start I think I'll just rattle can the whole car in black.

                          I like the S&H...

Don't put stripes on it, they look horrible. ALWAYS

I'm kind of leaning towards the all black right now. I watched MadMax last night, That Interceptor is just plain sick!!:headbang: I'm starting to think LTD GT Interceptor has a good ring to it.

Nope If it ever gets Cleveland anything it would just be the heads!! But I'm considering not using the Boss hood scoop. I'm thinking about using a Street scoop carb scoop sprayed black sticking thru the hood.
