Options for Mercury center caps on CVPI steel wheels?

My Dad gifted me the stock wheels off his 2000 CVPI that I intend to use once I do the big brake swap. I have a set of eBay trim rings I want to use along with Mercury center caps. Anyone have experience with these two types or perhaps others? I seem to recall seeing someone here use the chrome ones, but haven't been able to find it.

The Mountaineer caps use the collared lug nuts just like the CVPI center caps did. You could those or use the later center caps from like a 2004 era one. They fill in the center hole evenly.

Any pictures of the caps you're talking about?

Are these lug nuts what I would need to run center caps like these?
